Applications commenced on May 13th, 2025, and will close on September 30, 2025, at noon South African Standard Time (SAST). Do not wait till the last minute! You cannot check your status until you have submitted your application

CUT Application Status: What to Do After Results

If you have not heard back from Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) within 5 working days (120 hours) of receiving your final Grade 12 results, you can check your status on their application dashboard using your login information. Your status should be updated within 48 hours of the Grade 12 results being released. You may see if your application has been accepted, refused, or is still being reviewed.

You will be able to check your application status online through the CPUT Online Application Portal.

Go to www.cput.ac.za.
Navigate to the “Application Status” section on the CPUT website.
Enter your ID number, passport number, or asylum seeker number (as used in your application).
Provide your first name.
Click the “GET MY APPLICATION STATUS” button to view your application status.
