Don’t delay! You must upload all your documents, including your completed online application form, before the closing date. The University cannot accept submissions after the deadline.

Current matriculants:

• You’re fortunate! You can start your application without needing any documents at this stage.

Already matriculated applicants:

• Remember to submit your ID document and Senior Certificate before the deadline.

How to Apply

Follow the guidelines below to complete the CUT application form and secure your spot at the Central University of Technology for the 2026 academic intake.

• Visit www.cut.ac.za and go to “Prospective Student.”
• Select “New Application” under “Application Process.”
• Read and accept the instructions for new applicants.
• Please enter your details (Names as they appear on the ID document).
• Verify your details and click “Continue.”
• Complete each section and click “Next.”
• Upload your Grade 12 certificate or select automatic upload.
• Enter your educational information, including qualifications and subjects.
• Choose your courses based on your qualifications.
• Review to ensure your data is correct.
• Upload all required documents
• Click “Submit Application” and enter your program code.
• Click the blue button to add the program code.
• Confirm your program appears in “View Completed Application(s).”
