• Click on this link to visit the CAO Portal.: https://cao.ac.za/MyApplicationLogin.aspx.
• Select and enter one of the following identification numbers:
  CAO Number or ID Number or Passport Number
• Then click the Submit button

CAO Application status Meaning

Waiting for a Decision: CAO has not yet evaluated your application.

Late Application: Your application was received after the program’s closing date

Awaiting Results: Your selected university has not yet decided whether to accept your application since it is awaiting additional results.

Conditional Offer: Your university will accept you if you meet the requirements.

Firm Offer:  You are offered a place by your university.

Programme Closed: No further applications will be considered.
