To register for a course at Gauteng College of Engineering and Technology for the 2025 academic year, please follow the steps below.

Fill in Personal Details
Provide Contact Information
Provide your Academic History
Select a course to study
Indicate whether rewriting the new or old curriculum, and the number of subjects to rewrite.
Please fill in the “MATRIC REWRITE” section if doing Matric Rewrite only.
Provide details of the account payer or sponsor
Confirm receipt and understanding of terms, conditions, and tuition fees.
Accept the terms and conditions.
Upload the following documents to complete the registration process.
1. Copy of ID
2. ID copy of the next of kin
3. Copy of recent results
4. Proof of residence
5. International passport
6. Proof of registration fee
7. Medical Cover for the duration of the study period.
8. Receipt for Tuition.
9. SAQA evaluation certificate has to be attached to all international qualifications.

Entry Requirements

To complete a level 5 qualification, the learner needs to have an NQF Level 4 qualification (Grade 12 or FET Level 4)
To complete a level 4 qualification, the learner needs to have an NQF Level 3 (Grade 11)
To complete a level 3 qualification, the learner needs to have an NQF Level 2 qualification (Grade 10)
To complete a level 1 qualification, the learner needs to have an NQF Level 1 qualification (General Education: culminating in Grade 9)
