- The Certification must be no more than 60 days old at the time of application.

How to Start a New Application at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology for 2025-2026
- Go to the CPUT application website: https://www.cput.ac.za
- At the top menu of the page, click on “How to Apply”
- Have you already started an online application with CPUT? Follow the leading questions and select the appropriate one:
- Select NO to proceed to the next leading question
- Yes, but I did not finish the process – Select Yes in the case where you have left the online application process without a student number allocated to you
- Choose your qualification
- Get an online application form
- Gather your documents or upload further/ outstanding documents
- Click on the Load/ View Document to submit your first document
- Click on the UPLOAD DOCUMENT button
- Select your saved scanned Matric document (document must be saved as .tiff, pdf, .jpg or .gif) from your device
- Click on the SAVE and then the CLOSE button
- Click on the CLOSE button again
- Click on the CLOSE button again
- Select the COMPLETE UPLOAD button to finalize your online application process
- Fill out the online application form
- Pay the application fee
- Submit your completed online application form and documents
- Follow up and check your admission status
