How do I apply through the Rhodes University Online System?

Visit www.ross.ru.ac.za and click “Application.”
Register with your email address and create a unique password.
Check your inbox for the activation email and click the link to confirm your account.
Log in to ROSS and select the appropriate option to apply
Complete the application form and review/accept the terms and conditions.
Pay the R100 application fee using the provided options.
If using a bank transfer, email the deposit slip with your application number as reference to registrar@ru.ac.za.
Once submitted, your application will be processed.
After successful submission, you’ll receive a student number and login details to access ROSS and explore your academic options.

Have trouble applying online? No worries! You can also download a paper-based application form and complete it manually. Submit the completed form along with any required documents to the address provided.

Rhodes University 2026 Application Deadlines

Rhodes University applications for 2026 entry are open from April 1 to November 30, 2025, for all courses. If you miss the deadline, there may be other opportunities to apply later in the year, but this is not guaranteed
