University of Fort Hare Application Date For 2025-2026

Thankfully, Fort Hare University’s online applications for the academic year 2025 semester are now open and available. The deadline for online applications is September 30, 2024, for applicants from South Africa, and November 30, 2024, for those from other countries. Since the institution does not accept late applications, you are now advised to visit the official application portal and complete the online application form for submission before the closing date.

Complete and submit your application form online. Remember, incomplete applications will not be processed and may affect your admission chances.
The application deadline is November 30th, 2024, and late applications will not be accepted.
There is also an R120 application fee that must be paid.

If you want to study at the University of Fort Hare (UFH), you must meet the following minimum admission requirements for your chosen qualification be it a degree, diploma, or postgraduate degree:

Applicants holding a South African National Senior Certificate (NSC) need to pass a minimum of 4 subjects at a rating of 4 (Adequate Achievement, 50-59%) or better in any four 20-credit NSC subjects.
Applicants holding a South African Senior Certificate need matriculation endorsement.
