Required:

  • N1- Pass Grade 11 with 40% Maths and Science.
  • Pass Grade 12 with 30% Maths and 40% Science
  • N2 – Pass N1 (4 or 3 subjects). Pass grade 11/12 with Technical Subjects
  • N3 – Pass N2 (4 or 3 subjects)

Electrical Engineering N1-N3

Required:

  • N1- Pass Grade 11 with 40% Maths and Science.
  • Pass Grade 12 with 30% Maths and 40% Science
  • N2 – Pass N1 (4 or 3 subjects). Pass grade 11/12 with Technical Subjects
  • N3 – Pass N2 (4 or 3 subjects

Electrical Engineering N4-N6

Required:

  • N4 – Pass Level 4 Electrical Engineering or N3 Electrical Engineering
  • N5 – Pass N4 Electrical Engineering
  • N6 – Pass N5 Electrical Engineering

Civil Engineering

Required:

  • N1- Pass Grade 11 with 40% Maths and Science
  • Pass Grade 12 with 30% Maths and 40% Science
  • N2 – Pass N1 (4 or 3 subjects). Pass grade 11/12 with Technical Subjects
  • N3 – Pass N2 (4 or 3 subjects)

N4 – N6

  • Quantity survey
  • Building administration
  • Building and structural construction
  • Building and structural surveying

Mechanical Engineering (Motor Mechanics) N1-N3

Required:

  • N1- Pass Grade 11 with 40% Maths and Science.
  • Pass Grade 12 with 30% Maths and 40% Science
  • N2 – Pass N1 (4 or 3 subjects). Pass grade 11/12 with Technical Subjects
  • N3 – Pass N2 (4 or 3 subjects)

Mechanical Engineering (Motor Mechanics) N4-N6

Required:

  • N4 – Pass Level 4 Mechanical Engineering or N3 Engineering
  • N5 – Pass N4 Mechanical Engineering
  • N6 – Pass N5 Mechanical Engineering

National Certificate Vocational Courses

Required:

  • A year-end school report for Grade 9 or higher, or
  • An NQF Level 1 qualification (ABET Level 4) or
  • A recognition of RPL assessment to meet the basic requirement for access to NQF Level 2
