Academic registration for 2025-2026 at Mangosuthu University of Technology (MUT) is now open to all first-year and continuing/returning students. If Mangosuthu University of Technology (MUT) accepts your application for the 2025 academic year, you will not be required to visit the campus to register or make inquiries because everything is completed online. All you need is an internet connection, a smartphone, and registration documents.

Mangosuthu University of Technology (MUT) Registration Dates

The 2025 academic online registration of Mangosuthu University of Technology (MUT) is officially open as of January 05, 2025, to all new and returning students. All first-time registrants have until January 20th, 2025 to complete the registration process.

Before you register, take care of this:

Accept the offer to study at MUT: When accepting a firm offer, you are required to pay R500 to the MUT bank account, quoting your student number as a reference. The R500 that you pay when accepting a firm offer is part of the R2000 registration fee. You require proof of payment of the R500 to get financially cleared to register.

How to register online as a first-time registrant

The following instructions are provided to assist all newly admitted students at Mangosuthu University of Technology (MUT) with their first-semester registration.

Go to www.mut.ac.za
Click on Student portal
Click on STUDENT iENABLER
Click on Student
Enter your Student number on the student number field
Enter the pin you are currently using or the default pin (46579) if you have not changed it.
Click on the Login button
Once you have logged on, click on Registration on the left-hand side of the screen
Click on RULES AND REGULATIONS
Scroll down and click on the I Accept button
Click on Submit Registration on the left-hand side of the screen
Click on Your Employment Status and select the UNEMPLOYED option
Click on Save and Continue
The list of subjects you are eligible to register for will appear. Select all the subjects by clicking on the checkboxes next to each subject.
Click on the save and continue button
Click on the Continue button
Click on the Accept Registration button. Registration is now complete.
Once you have completed registration you must click on Proof of registration which is on the left-hand side of the screen.
