The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has officially opened applications for TVET College Semester 2 funding for the 2025 academic year. This funding is available to eligible South African students who are enrolled or planning to enroll at public Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) colleges. The NSFAS bursary covers tuition, registration, accommodation, transport, and learning materials.

✅ Who Qualifies for the NSFAS 2025 TVET Bursary?

To be eligible for NSFAS funding as a TVET college student, you must meet the following criteria:

Be a South African citizen or permanent resident with a valid SA ID number.
Be registered or intending to register at a public TVET College.
Be pursuing an NSFAS-approved qualification such as:
- Pre-Vocational Learning Programme (PLP)
- National Certificate (Vocational) – NC(V)
- NATED/Report 191 programmes (N1-N6)
- DHET-approved occupational programmes

- R600,000 or less per annum (for applicants with disabilities)

The N+1 Rule applies:
- “N” = minimum time to complete the qualification.
