Policing Course Unisa Application: The University of South Africa (Unisa) is a university that understands the current trends of issues and the prevailing course to study. Policing has been one of the greatest concerns in Africa and the world at large looking at the security structure of every country. University of South Africa (Unisa) has introduced policing courses to help prepare minds and individuals on some basic policing techniques and other security concerns.
Candidates who are interested in working in law enforcement should apply to this program. Whether they want to work for the South African Police Service, the business sector, or the security industry, graduates from this nationally recognized certificate program will be able to advance the professional standards of police. Learners will learn how to communicate, manage, and investigate crimes and situations in this full- and part-time course.
Who qualifies to apply for policing courses at Unisa: Applicants may only register once they have received confirmation from Unisa that their application for admission has been accepted. Unisa reserves the right to not process and/or to cancel your registration if it is found that you were incorrectly admitted to a qualification. OR
Re-registering students: They may register for the 2023 academic year once the registration period opens.
Can I apply for an alternative qualification if my application is canceled at Unisa: Admission to the alternative qualification is not automatic. It will depend on whether you comply with admission requirements and if space is available. Should you wish to start a new qualification, please apply online for the alternative qualification during the prescribed application period.
Choose your Modules: Each Unisa qualification is structured in such a way that you need to pass a certain number of NQF level credits within a certain amount of time in order to graduate.
Number of Modules to be registered by every student: Students may not register for more than the allowed maximum number of credits / modules per academic year and / or semester: 60 credits per semester or 120 credits per academic year. This excludes supplementary and/or aegrotat examinations from a previous semester
Consider your available period: You must take your available time into consideration when choosing your modules, as this will impact your academic performance. You need approximately 6 to 8 hours per week for semester modules and 4 to 6 hours per week for year modules.
