Tshwane University of Technology’s (TUT) application portal remains generally open for the 2026 academic year until September 30, 2025. However, a few selected courses will close after July 31, 2025. We recommend that you visit the official website to check which courses are affected, and if you’re interested, apply as early as possible before the end of July.

How to Apply to TUT for the 2026 Academic Year

Check the closing dates for your intended courses, even though the general application deadline is September 30, 2025.
Review the admission requirements and ensure you meet them.
Prepare your application materials:

- Get them certified
- Scan and save them as soft copies.

Enter your ID number.
Accept the POPI Act agreement.
Create your student profile.

Select at least two study courses.

Upload certified supporting documents.
