UNISA Opening Application Dates 2025

Are you ready to apply for admission to the University of South Africa for the academic year 2025? Then, the application to study at UNISA for undergraduate qualifications for the 2025 academic year is set to be open on Monday, August 19, 2024

Application Fee Payable for 2025 after the Opening Date.

• A non-refundable application fee of R135 for online applications is payable by all applicants.
• Use the student number you receive from Unisa AND the application fee reference number
• Send the proof of payment to susdepid@unisa.ac.za
• The due date for the application fee is the closing date for the application period. Any application submitted without an application fee paid on time will not be processed.

Supporting Documents Required by the UNISA Online Applications

All applicants starting a new qualification must upload all the required documents stated below during the application process. Failure to do so will render your application invalid. The closing date for all submissions is listed above:

• A copy of an applicant’s school qualifications
• Academic transcript certified by the applicant’s previous institution
• Copy of your ID document (RSA students) or ID/passport (international students)
• An applicant who is divorced must submit proof of the divorce
• Sworn translations of documents if they are not in English or Afrikaans

Required formats for the supporting documents

• Files may not be larger than 2MB (2048KB) each.
• Only black and white documents may be submitted.
• Only the following file types are allowed: PDF (Adobe Acrobat Portable Document Format file), DOC (Word document file), or TIF (image file)

UNISA Online Application Steps 2025

To apply to THE University of South Africa UNISA for 2025 admissions, follow the steps below:

• Log onto https://www.unisa.ac.za/sites/corporate/default/Apply-for-admission.
• Select “Undergraduate, Postgraduate” qualification.
• Follow step 1 to step 3 instructions.
• Click the “Apply for Admission” option.
• Click on “First-time Unisa Applicants/Returning Applicants”.
• Enter your passport or ID number.
• Fill in accurate details.
• Upload relevant documents.
• A student number is generated automatically after a successful application
• Finalize your applications by paying the application fee
• Upload the evidence or proof of payment
