UP Late Application 2023/2024 Closing Date

For reasons best known to them, the majority of applicants during the general application window are unable to apply. Some justifications are compelling enough to allow such an applicant to submit an application. Late applications are now accepted at the University of Pretoria (UP) because of this. This is done once a year, and it lasts as little time as feasible.

The University of Pretoria (UP) Administration has finally released the Late Application date for the 2023/2024 academic year. University of Pretoria (UP) Online Late Application for 2023 will only be considered when there is available space for your chosen qualification

The deadline for submission of all online applications must be before the deadlineThe school will not extend this deadline for 2023, so apply as soon as possible.

UP Late Application schedules: Beginning on April 1, 2022, the University of Pretoria opens the admissions portal. From this point forward, they accept all undergraduate and graduate applications. The application portal will be closed to specific particular programs after June 30, 2022. Due to the strong demand from applicants, these programs are only offered for a limited amount. However, certain specifically chosen programs won’t end until they’ve reached capacity. If there are still openings, applications for these programs after the stated deadline are still accepted.

What documents are needed for the application

There is no need to certify these documents.

  1. South Africa Identification Number/Passport
  2. Final School Results –Grade 12
  3. Proof of payment of application fees

Is the Application fee refundable when submitted after the closing date: Please note that no late applications will be considered. UP will not be able to reimburse the application fee if the application is late or unsuccessful.

Follow below the steps to apply

  • Get access to the internet
  • Enter www.//upnet.up.ac.za/psc/upapply/
  • from the drop box, choose ” Start New Application”
  • Click ok on the privacy notice pop up
  • Fill the Blanks with your details
  • Ensure the characters are entered into the security  code field correctly
  • Enter the Go option
  • A disclaimer opens up, read it carefully and continue
  • Enter Your details by using the provided dropbox
  • Click on the OK button
  • Confirm your application on the next page and click continue to proceed
  • An ID and a temporal Password are sent to your email
  • Use this ID number and password to start your application by clicking on the link in your email
  • Create your password if you so wish
  • Click on the “save and next” button to continue
  • The application summary page is open for editing. this is the starting point for the application
  • Edit and start
