Applicants interested in gaining technical skills and industrial experience should visit Western TVET College to start their 2026 admissions application, as the portal is now open. The college is known for providing practical training and field experience, preparing students to start their businesses and hire others. The online application for the 2026 academic year at Western TVET College opened on September 1, 2025. Undergraduate, domestic, and international applicants can submit their applications during this period. All applicants must complete and submit the application form by September 30, 2025.

Does Western College Tvet accept manual applications:

No walk-in applications are available. The application for admission in 2026 is only done electronically/online.

Grade 12 certificate/Statement of results/Latest school report/DHET certificate
ID document
Proof of residence

Please note that all submitted documents must be original certified copies with a six-month expiration date on the certification.

How to apply at Western Tvet College for 2026

To apply, applicants should follow these steps:

Visit the home page at “https://www.westcol.co.za/“.
Select the “online application” option on the webpage.
On the new page, scroll down and click “click here for placement assessment” under step one (this is mandatory for all applicants).
A Learner Profiler page will open—click “first time here” to begin the first stage of the admission process.
After completing step one, return to the online page and proceed to step 2.
Under step 2, select “application scoring (APS) points.”
You’ll be redirected to a new page to fill out the online application form.
Choose your desired program and campus.
Complete the application with the required supporting documents and submit it online.
