Late Application Deadlines at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology

If you are looking for the official closing date for the 2024/2025 academic year late admission, you have come to the right place. THE DATE OF OPENING IS OCTOBER 24TH, 2023. The portal will be operational until NOVEMBER 4th, 2023. This is to give all applicants enough time to complete the forms for submission. Those who are unable to submit their applications WILL not have the deadline extended.

Who is eligible to apply for late admission to the Cape Peninsula University of Technology?

The late application Even though it is open to the general public, the university has its targets, so you must know if you fall into those categories.

Applicants who exhausted only 1 or 2 options out of the maximum of 3 choices for applications submitted during the normal application timelines
Applicants who did not apply during the normal application timelines (maximum of 3 choices)
Cape Peninsula University of Technology students who have taken a gap in their studies
Phasing out programmes
Advanced Diploma (Students who have completed a National Diploma/Diploma/Bachelors Degree or equivalent studies)
Postgraduate studies – Master Tech/Master Course-based programmes
Postgraduate studies – Post Graduate Diploma programmes

Who cannot apply for late admission to the Cape Peninsula University of Technology?

Non-National applicants (without an SA ID), including Refugee/Asylum Seeker and/or Permanent Residency applicants without a National Senior Certificate (NSC) / SC (Senior Certificate) / NCV (National Vocal Certificate) / National Qualification.
Non-National applicants (without an SA ID) with international qualifications who already have SAQA certificates.
Refugee/Asylum Seeker status applicants with international qualifications who do NOT have SAQA certificates.
Permanent residency applicants with SA ID with international qualifications who
do NOT have SAQA certificates.
Regretfully no RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) applications will be considered
