The Central Applications Office (CAO) has announced the publication of the undergraduate and graduate prospectuses for the 2026 academic year! Prospective students can now download this brochure from the CAO’s official website, which contains all of the information they need for the 2026 application process.

CAO Applications Opening Date For 2026

The CAO online application portal will open for 2026 entry on March 1, 2025. You have until October 31, 2025, to submit all application documents for review

Is the CAO Prospectus Required for 2026 Applications?

You must study the CAO prospectus before applying to universities such as the University of Kwazulu-Natal, the University of Zululand, the Durban University of Technology, and the Mangosuthu University of Technology. These universities accept applications through their central application office.
