Univen Application Dates for 2024-2025:

The University of Venda will be taking applications from prospective applicants from April 2023 to 28 September 2023. This application window is applicable to South Africa, non-south Africa, undergraduate, and postgraduate applicants. Applicants are advised to begin their application as soon as possible because of the limited space.

Prepare these before you begin your application process:

Applicants are advised to gather all the required documents before commencing the online application. This facilitates the entire process. A working email and contact number must be provided by applicants because that is the channel through which the university may reach them. Your student number will be sent to this email to access as well.

Univen Application Required Documents:

Applicants must Scan and upload a copy of their I.D. document or passport, Grade 11 report or statement of grade 12 results, or copy of Matric Certificate. These documents must be in pdf format hence the scan.

Application Fees for the 2024/2025 Online Applications:

R100 non-refundable application fee must be paid before your application form will be completed. The application form must be attached with a copy of the payment receipt. Keep the original payment confirmation in a safe place. This is a requirement that all applicants must abide by. Your Money will not be given back when your application is declined. Univen Application Procedure for 2024-2025:

The Online Application System is designed for new prospective students who are making their first application to the University of Venda. It is not for students who are currently enrolled at the University of Venda. Previous applicants must download a copy of the application form on the official website and complete it. Follow the Application Process to Apply online for 2024. No walk-in or manual application for the 2024/2025 admissions.

Please Note: No email applications will be considered in 2024/2025.

Admission Requirements:

Qualifications	Requirements that must be met by Prospective Applicants
Degree	The minimum admission requirement is a National Senior Certificate (NSC) as certified by the Council for General and Further Education and Training (Umalusi) with an achievement rating of 4 (adequate achievement, 50-59%) or better in four subjects chosen from the recognized 20-credit NSC subjects. In addition, applicants must have a minimum point score of 26. A grade 12 certificate with a bachelor or matric exemption is required if grade 12 has been achieved.
Diploma	National Senior Certificate (NSC) as certified by Umalusi with an achievement rating of 3 (moderate achievement, 40-49%) or better in four recognized NSC 20-credit subjects.
Certificate	The minimum admission requirement is a National Senior Certificate (NSC) as certified by Umalusi.
