Application Requirements for DUT University For 2026

Before you submit your application, it’s essential to ensure that you meet the admission requirements set by DUT. Here are the general requirements for undergraduate applications:

National Senior Certificate (NSC): Applicants must have a National Senior Certificate or an equivalent qualification recognized by the university. Your NSC results should meet the minimum requirements for the program you wish to apply for. Ensure that you have taken the required subjects for your chosen field of study.

Admission Point Score (APS): DUT uses an Admission Point Score system to evaluate applicants. Your APS is calculated based on your NSC or equivalent results. Different programs have varying APS requirements, so it’s important to check the specific requirements for your intended course.

English Language Proficiency: Since DUT conducts its courses in English, applicants whose first language is not English may need to provide proof of English language proficiency. This can be demonstrated through English language tests such as the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) or the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).
