The College of Cape Town will start taking manual applications for the 2026 academic year on April 1, 2025. Although each program has a different deadline, the general application period runs from September 1 to November 30, 2025. We encourage you to apply right away

No matter your race, ethnicity, ethnic identity, religion, gender, or place of origin, you are welcome to submit a College of Cape Town admission application form for 2026 as long as you satisfy the prerequisites for the program for which you are applying.

South Africans and interested foreign applicants may submit an electronic or paper application as government-sponsored or Private candidates for admission to the College of Cape Town.

How to fill out the application form for the 2026 admissions to the College of Cape Town

• Complete the application form
• Once completed in full, attach a certified copy of your I.D., proof of address as well as a copy of your matric results/last grade passed.
• You will then receive an SMS acknowledging receipt of your application.
• You will be contacted about any further steps you need to take. This could include interviews, tests, and assessments related to your field of study.
• You will be provided with a letter of acceptance or a letter of provisional acceptance.
• You’ll receive a student number and be invited to register on a specific date.

How to Submit the Application:

Return the application form using any of these methods:

1. Return it to the address indicated.
2. Fax it to the number indicated.
3. Return it to the relevant campus where the course you are applying for is offered.

Required Documents

Attach the following documents when submitting your hard copy form

• All qualification documents, i.e. the highest school certificate issued by the official examining body.
• A copy of your Passport
• Complete and legible transcripts of academic records in respect of all other qualifications, together with the final certificates.
• Preceding qualifications leading to any other advanced qualification where the latter is submitted.
• Certificates in foreign languages should be submitted together with translations into English by a sworn translator.
