Even though some of its courses are closed, Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) is still taking applications for the 2025–2026 academic year. As the deadline draws near, prospective students are recommended to apply as soon as possible. Before the courses are filled up, fill out the application and attach any supporting documentation. Applications received after September 30, 2024, will not be accepted.

TUT Application Process and Steps For 2025

To apply for any of the available courses listed in this post, follow these steps:

  • Meet the courses and admission requirements: Ensure you meet the entry requirements for your chosen program before you apply as acceptance is based on academic performance.
  • Apply Online: Visit the application page on the TUT website to complete your application through the online portal.
  • Upload Supporting Documents: Gather all necessary documents such as your academic certificate, ID, and proof of payment. Certify, Scan, and upload all the required documents before the official closing date
  • Pay Application Fee: Pay the required R240.00 non-refundable application fee and upload proof of payment. This is compulsory for all applicants.
  • Track Your Application: Monitor your application status through the portal to stay updated on your admission status.

TUT General Application Date For 2025

Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) normally closes applications seven months after it opens. The 2025 application, which opened on March 1, 2024, is therefore expected to end on September 30, 2024. TUT expects all applicants to submit all required documents by the closing date at the latest, as a second application window is not guaranteed.
