CUT Online Registration Now Open For 2025-2026

The Central University of Technology (CUT) is now accepting enrolments for admitted students for the 2024 academic year. If you have received an offer of admission for the 2024-2025 academic year, you can enrol online from Wednesday, January 24, 2024, to Friday, August 31, 2024.

If your application is accepted, there is no need for you to go on campus for registration or enquiries because the entire registration process is done online.

CUT Registration Date For 2025-2026

2025 Central University of Technology Registration Now Open. The Central University of Technology is now accepting registrations for 2025! Whether you’re a first-year student, a returning senior, or pursuing Master’s or Doctoral studies, find all the information you need to register smoothly below.

Key Dates:

  • First Year: January 24 – 29, 2024
  • Seniors (including Masters & Doctoral): January 30 – February 2, 2024
  • Course Control Week (open to all): February 5 – 9, 2024
  • New Masters & Doctoral: January 24 – August 31, 2024

Recommended Browser and gadget: To avoid access issues, use Internet Explorer. If using a mobile phone is necessary, go to desktop mode before starting. This makes all of the registration portal’s features visible and simple to use without any difficulties.

Attention International Students! Pre-registration Information

Before heading to registration, all international students need to complete a pre-registration process. During this process, you’ll receive important compliance forms to fill out. In return, please submit the following documents five days before registration to msejake@cut.ac.za:

Required Documents:

  • Certified copy of your valid passport.
  • Certified copy of your valid study visa specifically issued for Central University of Technology, Free State.
  • Certified copy of your asylum/refugee status permit (if applicable).
  • Certified proof of medical cover with a South African medical scheme registered under the Medical Schemes Act (Act 131 of 1998). Your cover must be valid for the entire calendar year. While CUT recommends Momentum Health or Comp Care, only medical aid recognized in South Africa will be accepted. Hospital plans or insurance are not valid.
  • Proof of payment of your registration fee (R8600.00) if you’re a returning student.
  • Completed MIE form.
  • Completed Compliance form.

Remember: All compliance documents must be certified. Uncertified copies will not be accepted for registration. Don’t wait until registration day! Submit your paperwork early to ensure a smooth registration process.

How to Register as a New and Returning Student at CUT

This guide outlines the process of registering for classes at the Central University of Technology (CUT) as a bona fide student.

Before you begin:

  • Ensure you have your student number and PIN readily available.
  • Familiarize yourself with the CUT’s academic rules and regulations.

Steps:

Log in:

  • Visit the CUT online registration portal: https://enroll.cut.ac.za/pls/prodi41/w99pkg.mi_login
  • Enter your student number and PIN.
  • Click “Login.”

Accept the rules and regulations:

  • Select “Registration” on the left menu.
  • Choose “Rules and Regulations.”
  • Read the document carefully.
  • If you agree, click “I accept” at the bottom.

Submit your registration:

  • Select “Submit Registration.”
  • Choose your employment status from the drop-down list.
  • Click “Save and Continue.”

Select your subjects:

  • Tick the boxes next to the subjects you want to register for.
  • Ensure you select all compulsory subjects.
  • Choose electives from the remaining list, but note any prerequisite requirements.
  • Click “Save and Continue.”

Finalize your registration:

  • Choose “Save and Continue” to proceed with payment.
  • Select “Save and Continue Later” to save your progress and return later.
  • Click “Restart Process” to start over.
  • If you’re done, click “Continue.”

View and accept costs:

  • Click “Print Cost Details” to see your registration fees.
  • If everything is correct, select “Accept Registration.”

Proof of registration:

  • You’ll see your registration details and registered subjects.
  • Click “Add Subjects to a Registration” if you missed any subjects.
  • Click “Proof and cost” to access your “Proof of Registration.”
  • Print or save your proof for future reference.

Congratulations! You’ve successfully registered for classes at CUT.
