How to Activate Nsfas Wallet for 2024-2025

We have provided you with the steps necessary to register your wallet on this platform. After meeting the requirements for the 2024-2025 applications, you will receive your cash from the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS).

The application deadline for 2023 is January 31, 2024.

Students may resubmit after withdrawing their application as long as they do so before the application deadline. As they progress through the NSFAS funding progression pathway, all students must reapply for funding. In practice, this means that a university student who is receiving funding for a “Certificate” Qualification NSFAS Category must reapply for funding whenever they expect to complete the “Certificate” qualification and would like NSFAS to fund their “Undergraduate” qualification.

How to Activate NSFAS Wallet

Prospective applicants are encouraged to follow the steps below to register or activate their wallet immediately after submitting the application form to the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS)

  1. Sign your LAF/ SOP.

  3. Verify your account by dialling *120*176# and reply with your ID number.
