University of South Africa (UNISA) has published the 2026 application fee and its payment methods. It is important to note that your application may be delayed, stalled, or rejected if you do not pay the application fee into the correct account or platform.
First-time undergraduate or postgraduate applicants must pay a non-refundable R135.00 application fee online or with a UNISA-approved First National Bank ATM before their application form is considered valid for processing and consideration

After making a successful payment, print off the receipt, enter your student number in the application portal, and upload the document before the application deadline.
Your payment must be completed, and the proof of payment must be provided within the application period. Once the 2026 application portal closes, you will no longer be able to upload the receipt or any proof of payment. The UNISA 2026 application will close by November 14, 2025, depending on the qualifications.
