How To Re-Register on 2024-2025 Nsfas

During the application period in September, the National Students Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) will accept applications from prospective students. This application period is open to South Africans as well as all other qualified applicants.

Because funds are limited, applicants are encouraged to begin their applications as soon as the period opens. The application deadline for the National Students Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) will be moved to January of the following year.

How To Re-Register on 2024-2025 Nsfas

To receive funding from Nsfas, you must complete the following steps:

Go to www.nsfas.org.za, the scheme’s official website.
Look for the tab labelled myNSFAS.
Click on the register tab to get started.
Enter your ID number exactly as it appears on the required document
Enter your full name, including surname, as it appears on the documents
Provide a valid and working email address and phone number
Create a strong password
Re-enter the password to confirm it
Upload a copy of your identification document
Select the Register tab.
A message with a One Time Password will be sent to your email or phone number
You must enter this OTP in the field provided
Finally, to finish the registration process, click the submit button.

Required Documents for the 2024-2025 Application

The documents listed below are critical to the success of your applications. Failure to upload or submit the following documents is one of the most common reasons applicants are turned down.

A copy of the ID
Parents’ or Guardians’ ID
Proof of income
A completed and signed Disability Annexure A
completed and signed the Vulnerable Child Declaration and Consent Form (Vulnerable Child)
