The Gert Sibande TVET College application portal is now open for the 2026 academic year, with the online application period running from September 1, 2025, to November 30, 2025. This system is for both new applicants and returning or senior students. Walk-in and manual applications will not be accepted for the 2026 admissions cycle; all applications must be submitted online.

How to Apply at Gert Sibande TVET College for 2026

Follow these simple steps to submit your online application to Gert Sibande TVET College for the 2026 academic intake.

Step 1: Complete the Career Guidance and the Placement Test

Step 2: Complete the online application form (all fields are mandatory).

Step 3: You will receive a student number (note: this does not indicate acceptance).

Step 4: Login using the student number and PIN you created (keep these details safe).

Step 5: Accept the student’s terms and conditions and code of conduct.

Step 6: Ensure the following documents are uploaded as part of the application process:

• Copy of ID 
• ID copy of the next of kin 
• Copy of recent results 
• Proof of residence 

Step 7: Carefully select the course/program and campus.

Step 8: The admission office of Gert Sibande College will process your application and inform you of the outcome.

Step 9: Accept or decline the invitation to register.

Step 10: Registration process:

•     Log in to the student portal with your student number and PIN.
•     Click on “Registration.”
•     Accept rules and regulations to proceed.
•     Submit your registration.
•     Select your subjects (click “Save”).
•     Choose your study mode (full-time or part-time) and remember to save/accept.
•     Review the summary of costs and subject selections and save/accept.
•     Print a proof of registration (PDF), sign it, and submit it.

Step 11: Once registered, you will be called to collect books and student cards.
