Transfer Applicants

Admission and enrolment by transfer from another institution is subject to the following conditions:

Satisfactory academic record of work undertaken in that Institution: Submit a certified transcript of your previous studies.
Certificate of good conduct acceptable to the institution: This document should be certified.
No outstanding debts at other institutions: Confirmation from your previous institution is required.
Approval by the Head of Department: Your previous institution’s Head of Department must provide written approval.
Availability of space for these students at King Hintsa College: Admission is contingent upon available space in your desired program.

King Hintsa College Admission Requirements

Report191 Engineering:

An appropriate National Certificate N3 Engineering Studies; or
A Senior Certificate, with at least three instructional offerings which apply to the instructional offerings chosen by the candidate for the programme; or
An equivalent qualification
Proceed to the next level only when the previous level has been completed i.e. N4 for N5, etc.

To qualify for a National Diploma, students need to obtain and complete 18 months of relevant practical experience.
