All students, local and foreign, can manually submit their applications during this time. Lovedale Tvet College Admission and Entry Requirements for 2026

National Certificate Vocational (NCV) Students:

Minimum Qualifications: Grade 9. The college prioritizes applicants with Grade 10 or 11 and exceptionally considers Grade 12 applicants
Meet one of the following:
- Possess an NQF Level 1 qualification.
- Complete an approved bridging program designed for NQF Level 2 access.
- Undergo Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) assessment to meet NQF Level 2 requirements.

National N1- N3 Certificates (Technical / Artisan Courses):

Applicants must have Grade 9 with Mathematics, Physical / Life Science, and English.

National N4-N6 Certificates:

Applicants must have Grade 12 with:
- Minimum E symbol/Level 3 (40-49%) for English Additional Language.
- Minimum D symbol/Level 4 (50-59%) for English First Language.
Additionally:
- Grade 12 Accounting is required for Financial Management applicants.
- OR, possess a Level 4 NC(V) Certificate in a related course.
