After accepting the Mangosuthu University of Technology (MUT) offer, the student must register for the semester before beginning studies at the new institution. The registration procedure is disclosed in advance to registrants. The process of enrolling at Mangosuthu University of Technology (MUT) in 2023 will end with this.

Registration Dates for 2023: The online registration date for the 2023 academic year is yet to be published by the university. However Fresh students should be ready for registration by February 2023.

Before you register, take care of this:

Accept the offer to study at MUT: When accepting a firm offer, you are required to pay R500 to the MUT bank account, quoting your student number as a reference. The R500 that you pay when accepting a firm offer is part of the R2000 registration fee. You require proof of payment of the R500 to get financially cleared to register.

How to register online as a first-time registrant in 2023

The following instructions are provided to assist all newly admitted students at Mangosuthu University of Technology (MUT) with their first-semester registration.

  • Go to www.mut.ac.za
  • Click on Student portal
  • Click on STUDENT iENABLER
  • Click on Student
  •  Enter your Student number on the student number field
  • Enter the pin you are currently using or the default pin (46579) if you have not changed it.
  •  Click on the Login button
  • Once you have logged on, click on Registration on the left-hand side of the screen
  • Click on RULES AND REGULATIONS
  • Scroll down and click on the I Accept button
  • Click on Submit Registration on the left-hand side of the screen
  • Click on Your Employment Status and select the UNEMPLOYED option
  • Click on Save and Continue
    The list of subjects you are eligible to register for will appear. Select all the subjects by clicking on the checkboxes next to each subject.
  • Click on the save and continue button
  • Click on the Continue button
  •  Click on Accept Registration button. Registration is now complete.
  • Once you have completed registration you must click on Proof of registration which is on the left-hand side of the screen.
