NSFAS Application Form PDF Download For 2025-2026

The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has released the application form for the 2025 academic year. Prospective students can download the PDF of the official 2025 application form fill it out by hand using an ink pen and submit it thereafter. The hard copy PDF form will be available for download starting in September 2024. The form should be downloaded, printed, and filled out in black ink. The form is available for free online.

NSFAS Bursary Applications Dates For 2025

The 2025 NSFAS Bursary Applications will be opened and closed in September 2024 and January 2025, respectively. NSFAS Applications for the 2025 academic year must be submitted by 31 January 2025, as late submissions will not be considered. Therefore, applicants are advised to apply and submit all application documents within the stipulated period.

How to apply for NSFAS Funding

The NSFAS Bursary application for the 2025 academic year can be submitted online or on paper. To apply in PDF format, applicants can download the form from the official website, available between September 2024 and January 2025.

Required Documents For NSFAS 2025 Application

Below are the necessary documents that must be attached to the hard copy form for submission.

SASSA recipient:

Cеrtіfіеd copy оf your ID, nоt оldеr than 3 mоnthѕ
A signed аnd completed соnѕеnt fоrm

Dependent applicant, рlеаѕе рrоvіdе:

Cеrtіfіеd ID copies оf раrеnt/ѕ, guardian, spouse nоt оldеr thаn 3 mоnthѕ
Proof of іnсоmе of a parent, guаrdіаn оr ѕроuѕе (рауѕlір оr appointment letter)

Employed and self-sufficient

Proof оf income (рауѕlір or appointment lеttеr)

How to Submit NSFAS Application Form (HARD COPY)

Once completed, use the following methods to send your application and any necessary documents to NSFAS:

In-person Submission: hand in your completed application form and supporting documents to the Financial Aid Office (FAO) at your university or Tvet College.
