NSFAS Second Semester 2 Applications 2025
Are you a prospective or returning student at a public TVET College or university in South Africa? If you need financial assistance for the second semester of the 2025 academic year, NSFAS applications are now officially open from 9 July to 31 July 2025. This is your chance to secure funding for tuition, registration, accommodation, transport, and study materials.

Both new and returning students enrolled in public TVET colleges or universities can apply. NSFAS supports financially disadvantaged students, including those receiving SASSA grants and students with disabilities.
To qualify, applicants must:
Be a South African citizen
Have a combined household income of R350,000 or less per year
Be registered or accepted at a public university or TVET College
Possess a valid email address and cellphone number
Be a SASSA grant beneficiary (automatically qualifies)
Students with disabilities: Household income must not exceed R600,000 per year
