Important: All admission requirements still apply. While the application deadline is flexible, the bar for entry remains the same. You’ll need to meet both the university’s minimum requirements and those specific to your chosen program.

Stellenbosch University: Late Application Window Open (But Not for Everyone!)

Not submitted your application yet? Don’t fret! Stellenbosch University offers a late application window, but it’s not for everyone. Here’s who can apply:

Missed the standard deadline: If you simply didn’t get around to applying on time, this is your chance!
Change of Mind: Previously rejected applicants can reapply after reviewing admission requirements and choosing a different course (if applicable).

Important note: This doesn’t apply to everyone. If you applied to the regular window, you cannot reapply through this process.

Looking ahead? Mark your calendar! January 2025 is when online registration for new first-year students opens for the following academic year.

Self-registration is unavailable for students who:

Haven’t submitted all required documents (e.g., matriculation exemption, results, etc.).
Haven’t been officially readmitted to the university.
Have outstanding debts on their student account.
Are new postgraduate students registering for the first time in 2024?
Are registering for special programs, as special students, or have transferred programs.
Didn’t achieve a “pass year” result at the end of the previous academic year.
