UFH Registration Fees For 2026 Academic Intake
The University of Fort Hare’s 2026 registration period is now open. Prospective students can submit their registrations online through the UFH application portal. Late applications will not be accepted, so it is important to register promptly to secure your spot. Once the application process is complete, selected candidates must officially register to become fully admitted students, as all new students are required to register manually.
If the application is accepted, registration or inquiries must be made on campus, as the registration process is done manually for both new and continuing students. More information on registration, closing dates, and approved payment methods can be found in this article.

Upon registering all students of the University of Fort Hare will be charged the following:

| Late registration fee | R700.00 |
| Student levy | R2 000.00 |
| Student levy (part-time students | R1 000.00 |
As in previous years, the university only accepts walk-ins in the Science and Agriculture as well as Management and Commerce Faculties. The number of applicants from the Science and Mathematics stream is usually below the faculties’ quota.
