UFS Closing Date For 2026 Applications

The University of the Free State (UFS) is still accepting applications for the 2026 academic year, including undergraduate, postgraduate, and certificate/distance/diploma programs. Applicants should be mindful of key deadlines for both application submission and course registration. To be considered for admission, applicants must complete the online form, upload the required supporting documents, and submit the form to receive a student number within the specified period.

UFS 2026 Admission Application Deadlines

Applications for the University of the Free State (UFS) for the 2025 academic year are still open. However, late applications will not be considered, so it’s important to apply before the specified deadlines. While the general application deadline is the end of September 2025, some courses have earlier closing dates, which are listed in the table below.

UFS Application Requirements For 2026

Applicants are to upload their Certificates, National Identification Number, or Passport number. Your application will be rejected if you fail to do this. Transfer applicants must also produce conduct certificates from their previous universities. Another document is your parent’s ID or passport if you are younger than 18 years. These Documents must reach the university before the various closing dates.
