UJ Late Application 2025/2026-Apply Now

Welcome to the University of Johannesburg’s late-application portal for 2025. Anyone who wishes to apply to UJ for courses that still have space or to change to another course must complete the late application form, which will be open from 16 January 2025 (20:00) to 21 January 2025 (14:00). There will be no walk-ins for the 2025 late application, as all applications must be submitted online by January 2025. Only courses with sufficient space will be offered for application to individuals who meet the minimum entrance requirements.

University of Johannesburg 2025 Late Application Date

The University of Johannesburg’s official late application for the 2025 academic intake will take off from Thursday, 16 January, to Tuesday, 21 January 2025. Because there are limited spaces and courses, it is encouraged that applicants submit their applications as early as possible to secure admission. You are to ensure that you meet the courses’ requirements before you apply.

Who Can Apply?

Applications are welcome from anyone who wants to pursue an undergraduate degree at the University of Johannesburg. Both domestic and foreign applicants, as well as those without a University of Johannesburg student number, are eligible to apply for late admissions.
It is recommended that applicants apply for qualifications that are available for late applications because not all courses are open.

How to Apply

Follow the steps below to apply for late admissions

Click submit after entering your UJ student number, Grade 12 exam number, or ID number.
Verify your personal information once again, then press the “Confirm” button.
Verification of fresh or old applications:
The qualifications that you meet and for which there is still room will be shown by the faculty or college. Please choose the faculty or college of your choice.
The Faculty/College will offer a list of the available qualifications. Choose the qualification that appeals to you.
If your choice is satisfactory, press “submit an inquiry.” Click on Make a Different Selection to start the process over if you’re not satisfied with your choice.
Enter your mobile number and then click “Submit.”

Remember the following:

If you haven’t applied to UJ, the system will tell you if you are eligible for any of the available qualifications.
If you have previously applied to UJ for the academic year 2025, the system will show you the status of your application for the qualification(s) you have applied for.
If you have a favorable application status and are satisfied with your qualifying selection, go to registration information to learn more about the registration process (please note that only applicants with an admitted status will be allowed to continue with registration).
Click the Change Qualification button if you’re unhappy with your current qualification.
