The University of Johannesburg’s management has issued and opened 2024/2025 Undergraduate and Postgraduate Late Application for the Academic Session. Because there are limited spaces and courses, it is encouraged that applicants submit their applications as early in the cycle as possible.

Applicants do not need to visit campus to confirm their application status. If you have not received a text message or email from UJ within five working days of the announcement of the final grade 12 results. All you need to do is to visit the application portal of the University of Johannesburg and log in with your login details

Closing Dates for Online Application:

We are pleased to announce that the University of Johannesburg has reopened its online application form for the 2024-2025 academic year, accepting additional applications after the deadline. The University of Johannesburg is accepting late applications until January 30, 2024, after which it will be closed.

How the selection is done: For applicants who match the minimal entrance standards, the late inquiry procedure will only be accessible for qualifications where there is still room. The system may close early depending on the quantity and caliber of late application enquiries received.

Follow the steps below to apply for late admissions

Click submit after entering your UJ student number, Grade 12 exam number, or ID number.
Verify your personal information once again, then press the “Confirm” button.
Verification of fresh or old applications:
The qualifications that you meet and for which there is still room will be shown by the faculty or college. Please choose the faculty or college of your choice.
The Faculty/College will offer a list of the qualifications that are available. Choose the qualification that appeals to you.
If your choice is satisfactory, press “submit an inquiry.” Click on Make a Different Selection to start the process over if you’re not satisfied with your choice.
Enter your mobile number and then click “Submit.”

Remember the following:

If you haven’t applied to UJ, the system will tell you if you are eligible for any of the available qualifications.
If you have previously applied to UJ for the academic year 2022, the system will show you the status of your application for the qualification(s) you have applied for.
If you have a favourable application status and are satisfied with your qualifying selection, go to registration information to learn more about the registration process (please note that only applicants with an admitted status will be allowed to continue with registration).
Click the Change Qualification button if you’re unhappy with your current qualification.
