Unisa Online Registration Process 2023/2024

The online registration of Unisa usually begins in January and ends in the same month for the first semester. Undergraduate registrants also commence their registration in March. Some Courses have registration dates earlier than stated. Second Semester registrations begin in the month of June.
One can only register be it first-time applicants or previous applicants if such a person has been accepted into the University of South Africa after accepting the offer granted.

When to Register at Unisa for 2023 admissions: Honours & postgraduate diploma semester 2 modules registered in semester 2 close on 18 July 2022. This same date is applicable to Undergraduate semester 2 modules registered in semester 2.

How is Unisa Registration done in the 2023/2024 academic year

  • Go to http://registration.unisa.ac.za to register for Unisa courses.
  • Then click “Go” after selecting your qualifying level.
  • Fill in the blanks with your student number and any additional information needed. This is for students with Identification Number (Student Number)
  • To be considered for admission, you must submit an online application. A student number will be generated and sent to you during this procedure.)
  • Check your personal details on the screen to ensure accuracy (correct address and cellphone numbers.)
  • Select the modules you want to register for from the drop-down menu.
  • Do not take more than the required number of courses per semester or year, as this may cause a delay in processing your registration.
  • Search for the appropriate fees to pay before you proceed
  • Submit your Registration forms within the registration period

How to get study materials after the registration in 2023: Should you wish to receive study material, you will have two delivery choices to choose from at the time of registration for your first study pack for the semester:

Please send the following information to Unisa:

  • Current and genuine cellphone number
  • Alternate and current contact information (in case we are unable to reach you via your telephone number)
  • A legitimate and correct delivery address (courier or physical)

Post Office: Provide Unisa with a legitimate and active telephone number, as well as a correct location, suburb, and postal code. It is critical that you pick up your study materials from the Post Office as soon as the notification SMS arrives. You are responsible for gathering your own study materials.
