The University of Venda is now accepting online applications for the 2026 undergraduate studies through the student portal at www.univen.ac.za. Prospective students should ensure they apply before the deadline to be considered for admission. When to Apply for Undergraduate Studies at UNIVEN

The University of Venda is accepting online applications for undergraduate studies for the 2026 intake from April 1, 2025, to September 26, 2025, for South African students.

On the other hand, international applicants have until October 31, 2025, to submit all application documents. All undergraduate candidates are encouraged to apply early and are required to submit their applications online via the university’s official portal.

The University of Venda Online Application Requirements For 2026

The following documents are required when applying to the University of Venda:

• Copy of the proof of payment of your application fee
• A certified copy of the first page of your Identity Document.
• A certified copy of your Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification. If you are currently in Grade 12, please submit your marks obtained in Grade 11.

How to Complete Univen Online Application 2026

Follow the steps below to complete the University of Venda online application form for 2026:

• Visit UNIVEN online application portal: www.univen.ac.za
• Click on “Apply for Admission” at the top menu of the UNIVEN homepage
• Click on “Begin online application”
• An Academic Application Process opens
• Read the information carefully
• Please proceed to log into the myAccess webpage with your student number, to continue with your application
• Pay the non-refundable Application fee of R100
  • Deposit the fee at BSA account no 1000 000 589 and use your ID number or student number as your
    reference.
• Complete and submit your application online

The University of Venda reserves the right to select candidates for admission to specific fields of study due to specific capacity constraints. This means prospective students who comply with the minimum requirements will not automatically be admitted to the courses. Because of the capacity limitations and the high student demand for admission to particular fields of study, students will be selected based on their Grade 12 results for admission to these fields.
