Westcol Tvet College Applications Date 2026

The 2026 Western TVET College application portal for students will open on September 1, 2025, and close on January 31, 2026. To apply, students can visit the official Western TVET College website at www.westcol.co.za or the portal to submit their applications.

Those who miss the deadline for the 2026 academic year will be allowed to visit the campus for walk-in registration. However, walk-in registration will only be possible if there are still available courses after the deadline.

All new students should write the placement test on Step 1 before they can proceed to register at Westcol Tvet College. This is a compulsory test that must be taken by all first-time Westcol Tvet College applications because it will be used to evaluate an applicant’s general knowledge and proficiency in line with the various courses offered at the college

Westcol Tvet College Application Fee 2026

Westcol Tvet College does not charge an application or registration fee. However, should you not qualify for NSFAS or other financial aid, then you will have to pay a 50% deposit of your total tuition or class fee upon registration for the first semester of the academic year.

How to change the course you applied for at Westcol College.

You can change the course by canceling the incorrect course on the portal and reapplying for the correct one within the application period. Once the application period is over, Westcol TVET College will close its online application portal and begin processing the already-received application forms. Applications are responded to after the closing date.
