WSU Online Registration 2025/2026

Walter Sisulu University (WSU) is pleased to announce that academic registration for the 2025-2026 school year will commence shortly for all new and returning students. Following the acceptance of applicants who have met the admission criteria for their chosen courses, WSU will activate the registration portal to facilitate course enrollment.

WSU Online Registration 2025-2026: Important Dates and Details

The online registration process for Walter Sisulu University (WSU) for the 2025-2026 academic year will be open from January 15 to February 20, 2024. During this period, prospective students are encouraged to register using the WSU online portal. This exercise aims to enable all accepted students to register for their modules for the 2025 academic year.
During this registration time, students will be able to register for university programs, upload appropriate documentation, and pay the registration fees.

Click on the Study with Us tab on the menu bar of the main page of WSU
Select the application package and begin your application
Complete the registration by following the instructions
Confirmation of receipt of application is issued automatically once the process is completed and submitted.
Then, Upload all relevant supporting documents in their right format

Documents Required for Application

Fresh Applicants
The University considers various post-matric certificates for admission purposes.1. The following certificates must be submitted by all applicants:

The “Old Senior” certificate
The National Senior Certificate “NSC”
National Certificate Vocational “NCV”
N6 certificate
Current grade 12 learners must upload Grade 11 final results and first quarter or mid-year results if available.
Post-matric candidates must upload a matric or equivalent certificate, academic record, copy of ID, or passport.

2. Some departments may consider mature age exemption for admission for some programmes.
