How To Do 2025 Late Applications at TUT
Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) has officially published the application form for the academic year 2025, indicating that there are still courses available for enrollment at the undergraduate level. Students who missed the initial application window or could not complete their applications will be able to apply for the remaining 2025 qualifications during this session.
One may wonder whether applying after TUT ends applications is still possible. Yes, but there is a condition. TUT accepts late applications only if slots remain available in the program of your choice. To view the available courses, go to the website and scroll down to the course offerings section.

The TUT administration indicates that late applications will be accepted at midnight between January 20 and February 27, 2025. However, once a course or programme is full, it will no longer be available. Because you are not the only applicant seeking the desired qualification, we recommend completing your application as soon as possible.

You must submit a fully completed application form to TUT, along with recently certified copies of your original identity document and your highest academic results or your (National) Senior Certificate, to be considered for a late application. The certification can be obtained at the closest post office or police station and should not be more than a year old. If you are applying for a late admission, you must have an R240 administrative fee or a non-refundable application. Before the deadline, this payment must be made via the authorized channel or platform. After making a payment, you must upload the receipt through the application portal.
TUT denotes that late submissions will only be considered if there is space in the targeted programs. Because the institution can only accept a limited number of students per program, applications must be received on time. It is crucial to note that not all programs accept applications for the 2025 late intake. There are only a few that are space-constrained yet remain open. Meeting the admission requirements does not guarantee acceptance; instead, each application will be considered based on the space availability rules for the selected qualifications.
All late applicants must satisfy the fundamental requirements for admission, which include passing the Senior Certificate English proficiency exam (minimum additional language requirement). You must fulfill the specific admission requirements of each course to be considered for admission. Academic achievement is the basis for admission to TUT. To be eligible to study at TUT, you must have an APS score of at least 14.
The university highlights the different admission requirements for various courses with a table that shows the performance levels needed to get into different study levels.
