Nelson Mandela University (NMU) has opened applications and registration for the 2026 academic year, starting Tuesday, April 1, 2025. Since the closing dates vary, we have listed all the qualifications and their respective closing dates for 2026.

Closing Dates 2026

1. Academic Applications:

Early application:
- Deadline: August 2nd, 2025 (except for MBChB, BPharm & BRad)
Late application:
- Deadline: September 30th, 2025 (except for MBChB, BPharm & BRad)
MBChB, BPharm & BRad:
- Deadline: June 30th, 2025
International students (except MBChB & BRad):
- Deadline: September 30th, 2025 (application fee: R500)

2. Student Accommodation:

On-campus & Off-campus:
- Deadline: September 30th, 2025
