UNISA 2026 Application Dates – www.unisa.ac.za

The University of South Africa will only be considering applications for 2026 received between August and November 2025. Any applications received after this deadline will be considered late and reviewed based on the availability of slots in the relevant courses. Merit-based applicants and those who applied early will be given preference, so apply before the closing date.

Failure to submit the necessary documentation and evidence of payment for the application fee on time may result in an incomplete application that will not be considered for admission.

Unisa Honours and Postgraduate Diplomas Application Dates: Same window as undergraduate programs, August 19 to October 11, 2025.
Unisa Master’s and Doctoral Programs Application Dates: Opens on 14 September and closes on 10 November 2025.

Pay Unisa Application Fee

The University of South Africa charges a non-refundable application fee of R135.00 for new applicants, which must be paid promptly to complete the application process. Those with UNISA student numbers are exempt from paying the fee.
