Online Application:
This is the preferred method. Head to the Univen website and follow the easy steps. Remember the R100 application fee. Once you’ve completed all sections of the online application and attached the necessary documents, submit your application. Double-check all information for accuracy before finalizing the submission
Hardcopy Option:
Download the application form from the website, complete it, and submit it personally to the New Student Administration Building at Univen.
Scan and upload a copy of the following documents
A minimum Average Point Score (APS) of 26 and a National Senior Certificate (NSC) certified by Umalusi are the requirements for applying to or enrolling in courses at the University of Venda (UNIVEN). The APS scores do not take Life Orientation into account. Additionally, subjects scoring lower than 40% won’t be counted toward the APS total.
Meeting the minimum requirements does not ensure admission to any program; instead, students are selected following the entry requirements and available spots for the degree or program they are applying for.

You will require a credit or debit card with a CVC number, a cell phone number, an email address, and a South African identity number to apply online. Once you have these items, apply by following the steps below.

For online applications, there is a non-refundable processing fee of R100, which can be paid with a credit or debit card. There is no fee for offline applications. You will be prompted to make this payment before the system assigns you a student number, so be sure to have your credit or debit card ready in advance.
After submission, regularly check the status of your application through the online portal. The status of your application will be updated approximately 4-8 weeks after the closing date. Successful applicants will receive registration instructions.
