Where can I create a myNSFAS Account for 2024-2025

To apply online, you must first create a myNSFAS account. If you want to apply for Nsfas funding, you must keep this account. This is the first stage of the application process, and without this account, you will not be able to access the application form. As a result, we are requesting that all prospective applicants begin the application process by creating a myNSFAS account.

Where and How to create a myNSFAS Account for 2024-2025 Online Applications

This account (myNSFAS Account) is entirely created online, and the following step-by-step instructions are provided to assist applicants in creating the account.

Firstly, visit the official website at www.nsfas.org.za. Enter the exact URL
Click on the myNSFAS This is located at the top right side of the home page
To start the whole registration process, Click on the Register tab
We advise you to make ready all the supporting documents to facilitate the process
Checklist the acceptance box for verification and validation purposes
Enter the exact ID number on your identity card in the required field
Enter your surname exactly as they are printed on your identity card
Provide your phone number and a valid email address
Create a strong password and re-enter it to verify the password
Upload a scanned copy of your ID card
Register your account now by clicking on the tab REGISTER
An SMS will be sent to your phone containing a four-digit OTP or check your email for the same One Time Pin. Check your email spam if you cannot find it in your inbox
Extract the OTP and enter it in the field provided
Submit the forms now to finalize your registration
You will receive a final SMS or email confirming the account’s success.

After meeting the Nsfas requirements for the academic year 2023-2024, you can now proceed with your application. If you are not eligible for Nsfas funding, do not apply.
