Durban University of Technology (DUT) is still accepting applications for the 2026 academic year from both South African and international students, despite the general application deadline of September 30. There are still available courses with open spaces, so prospective students are encouraged to submit their applications as soon as possible to avoid any delays

  3. Diploma in Catering Management

Faculty of Engineering and the Built Environment

  1. Bachelor Bulk Environment: Urban and Regional Planning
  2. Bachelor of Engineering Technology in Chemical Engineering
  3. Bachelor of Engineering Technology in Industrial Engineering
  4. Bachelor of Engineering Technology in Mechanical Engineering
  5. Bachelor of Engineering Technology in Power Engineering

When to Apply

While the late application window provides a second chance, don’t underestimate the competition. The courses listed above are highly competitive, so it’s important to apply as soon as possible. Once a course reaches full capacity, it will be closed.
