Application and admission for the 2025 academic intake for all undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications are still open at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology, CPUT. The online application for the Cape Peninsula University of Technology, CPUT, which opened on March 15, this year, has yet to be closed because the closing date is not due. If you have not yet applied for your study course at CPUT, you can do so now because the CPUT online application form is still open to all local and international applicants.

If you are seeking qualifications for a diploma, higher certificate, bachelor’s degree, postgraduate diploma, master’s, or PhD program, then get to work now by completing the online application form. What is the closing date for CPUT applications in 2025?

Although the closing dates for the Cape Peninsula University of Technology vary depending on citizenship and course, the general closing date for all undergraduate applications at CPUT is September 29th for South African citizens and August 31st for non-South African citizens. By the 15th of March 2025, postgraduate applications will be closed to both South African citizens and non-South African nationals. After the usual application deadline, the Cape Peninsula University of Technology, CPUT, will only accept late applications if courses and programs are still available. You must meet the entrance requirements, which include submitting all applications for 2025 within the date specified. We will notify all learners and candidates whenever CPUT accepts late applications for 2025.

Remember that CPUT late applications are only available for a limited number of undergraduate courses and for a limited time between Monday, November 06 and Wednesday, 15 November 2023.

Number of Qualifications You Can Apply For At CPUT

The Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CUET) only accepts manual applications from specific applicants, who will be published on the university’s website. Online applications are not accepted. Prospective students can apply for up to three undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

Is CPUT Online Application Still Open For 2025

CPUT is accepting online applications for 2025, with a limited number of spaces available for select programs. The application portal has reopened for select programs, and the late application period starts on November 6, 2024, and ends on November 15, 2024.

CPUT Online Application Documents Required for 2025

Check the list of documents needed for CPUT applications and registration. Check the format that you are required to prepare, save, and submit the supporting documentation during your online application online once you have them ready. You must scan all supporting documents and convert them to JPEG, PDF, TIFF, or GIF format. Please refrain from submitting documents in Microsoft Word or Excel format.

Applicants from South Africa must possess the documents below:

  • A copy of your Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification (Grade 11 result is accepted
  • A copy of any ID document
  • The online Application is free. Manual applicants must provide proof of payment of R100 a non-refundable application fee
  • An original Academic Record and a Certificate of Conduct, or certified copies of other certificates/ diplomas/ degrees you obtained from any other higher education institution (Transfer applicants only)

Applicants from outside of South Africa must possess the documents below:

  • Permanent Residency applicants: Passport and Proof of Permanent Residency/SA ID Document/Card
  • Refugee/Asylum seeker temporary permit/formal recognition of refugee status in the RSA
  • A valid Passport from your country
  • A certified copy of your school-leaving certificate, together with an English translation.
  • A scratch card (for students from the West African Examination Council (WAEC) and National Examinations Council (NECO).
  • Congo-Brazzaville applicants must submit the Liste des Admis au Bac
  • Sixth-year Bulletin: Diplom D’Etat and Journal and transcripts of results or Journal or Confirmation of Results from the Embassy (students from Angola, the Democratic Republic of Congo, or Cameroon).

Cape Peninsula University Application Fee for 2025

CPUT online applications are free, but manual applicants must include a non-refundable R100 fee within the application dates, or a late fee of R150 must be submitted after the general application date.

How to Apply CPUT Online 2025

Apply to CPUT by following the guidelines below

  • The CPUT application website can be found at https://www.cput.ac.za.
  • Select the “How to Apply” tab from the page’s top menu to begin the procedure.
  • Enter your ID or passport number
  • Select and choose your qualification by clicking on it.
  • Answer all the questions on the application form. Ensure all required fields are filled out
  • Upload and save each relevant document sequentially
  • Submit your completed CPUT online application and supporting documentation by the deadline.
  • Minor applicants are to download the DECLARATION FORM and complete it.
  • After submission, check your admission status and follow up. Wait a few weeks before you begin to check.
  • Once an application is loaded onto the CPUT system, an sms will be sent to you acknowledging that the CPUT has received your application.
