The Cape Peninsula University of Technology has announced late admissions for all undergraduate and graduate students for the academic year 2025/2026. You can use this site to learn more about deadlines, application procedures, required documents, and other late admissions-related information at cput. Before the deadline, candidates should submit their applications as soon as possible.

Dates of Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) Opening and Closing in 2025:

The late application season for Cape Peninsula University of Technology CPUT runs from Monday, November 04, 2024, to Wednesday, November 16, 2024. The University of Cape Peninsula is accepting late applications for the academic year 2025/20256. Continue reading to learn more about the courses offered and how to apply before the deadlines.

Application Criteria

Applications are welcomed for the following applicants:

• National applicants (with an SA ID), including Refugee/Asylum Seeker and/or Permanent Residency applicants with a National Senior Certificate (NSC) / SC (Senior Certificate) / NCV (National Vocal Certificate) / National Qualification.
• National applicants (with an SA ID) with international qualifications who already have SAQA certificates.
• Refugee/Asylum Seeker status applicants with international qualifications who already have SAQA certificates.
• Permanent residency applicants with SA ID with international qualifications who already have SAQA certificates.
• Regretfully no RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) applications will be considered.

How to Apply at CPUT Online Application Form 2025/2026

If you want to apply online at CPUT Application Form for 2025/2026, follow the steps below:

1. Go to the CPUT application website: https://www.cput.ac.za
2. At the top menu of the page, click on “How to Apply”
3. Choose your qualification
4. Get an online application form
5. Gather your documents or upload further/ outstanding documents
6. Fill out the online application form
7. Pay the application fee
8. Submit your completed online application form and documents
9. Follow up and check your admission status

Late Application Submission for 2025/2026

• Online applications – Free of Charge
• All applications must be submitted online
• Only the following categories are allowed to follow the manual application process:
  • A Few non-degree programmes identified (if any)
  • Dean’s Discretionary – 4th Choice (where applicable)

Late Application Fee Payable: A non-refundable late application fee of R150 applies to applications submitted after the official closing date.

Engineering and Built Environment Faculty only

2. Monday, 04 November – Saturday, 30 November 2024

Lists of possible programmes with available spaces for the following faculties (and where applicable) will be published by no later than Friday, 14 February 2025:

• Education Faculty
• Health and Wellness Science Faculty
• Informatics & Design Faculty
