DUT Application Online Now Open For 2027 Academic Intake
The Durban University of Technology, situated in KwaZulu-Natal, is pleased to announce the opening of admissions for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes for the 2027 academic year.
DUT offers 55 academic programmes across six faculties, providing diverse, research-driven, and industry-focused qualifications, including Higher Certificates, Diplomas, Bachelor’s degrees, Master’s degrees, MBA, MPhil, and PhD programmes. These are delivered through its various colleges, schools, institutes, centres, and departments.

Where to Apply For DUT Admissions 2027
Undergraduate applicants must apply through the Central Applications Office (CAO).
Postgraduate applicants are required to apply directly to DUT via the university’s official website.

Prepare the following documents in advance of the 1 March 2026 application opening date to ensure a smooth and timely submission process.

- Visit www.cao.ac.za.
- Click on the “Apply” button.
- Enter your ID number or passport number.
- Click “Submit”.
- Select the appropriate option and click “Continue”.
- Carefully fill out the information on the page.
- Click “Next” to proceed.
- Access your CAO number, password, and EasyPay PIN.
- Use the provided credentials to continue with the online application process.
