1. Placement Test:
- What is it? The first step is a placement test to determine your academic level and suitable program options.
- How to take it? The college administers the test directly, ensuring you receive an accurate assessment.
- Purpose: The test helps you select a program that aligns with your skills and interests, avoiding unsuitable choices.
2. Pre-Entry Registration:
- Once you’ve completed the test, register online.
- Fill out all required fields in the pre-entry area. Even if you’re unsure about an answer, provide your best guess. Skipping questions is not allowed.
- Submit the pre-entry form.
3. Application Process:
- Visit https://ienabler.kzntvet.edu.za/pls/prodi41/gen.gw1pkg.gw1view to start your application.
- Select “New Applicant” and provide your bio-data to generate a student number.
- Check your email for your student number.
- Return to the application portal and log in with your student number and pin.
- Choose your desired program and campus.
- Complete the online application form.
- Upload the required supporting documents and submit your application.

Coastal KZN TVET College Course Options for 2025/2026
Coastal KZN TVET College offers a wide range of vocational and technical programs to equip students with the skills they need to succeed in their chosen careers. These programs include:
- National Accredited Technical Education Diploma (NATED)/Report 191 courses: These qualifications provide students with theoretical and practical knowledge in various technical fields. Bursaries are available for these programs.
- Engineering Studies: Requires N3 or Grade 12 with Maths, Physical Science, or Technical Drawing, each with a minimum pass rate of 40%.
- Business Studies: Requires N3 or Grade 12.
- National Certificate Vocational courses: These programs focus on developing practical skills for specific occupations. Entry requires Grade 9 or higher.
- Skills Training courses: These short, intensive programs provide practical training in various trades and professions. Certification is awarded by the college unless otherwise specified. Bursaries are not available for skills training courses.
