How To Apply For Free Laptop From NSFAS 2026
The long-awaited information on the laptop application is now available. Prospective applicants for the National Student Financial Aid Scheme, also known as NSFAS, can now apply for a laptop through the scheme’s official website at www.nsfas.org.za. This is one of the advantages of being a member of this organization. The scheme implemented this to assist their students in taking advantage of today’s technological age.
You must be approved for NSFAS funding and enrolled in an NSFAS-funded qualification at a public university or TVET college to order a device. Private applicants can use the scheme to order a laptop at their own expense
One intriguing aspect of NSFAS is that applicants have the option to cancel their order if they are not interested in the available brand. Students do so by informing their campus’s Financial Aid Office.
The ability to apply for the NSFAS 2026 smart laptop will be available starting September 1, 2025. The management of NSFAS will open the online laptop application for all students seeking this device from September 1 to November 30, 2025. You are required to complete the application form and upload all supporting documents via the online portal
To order their laptop, all approved students must follow the steps below. The entire ordering process is completed online, and no manual applications will be accepted.
There is no need for training because the laptop device has installed software. The specifications and price are both available on the online order portal. The Proline laptop model is currently available on the portal; additional brands will be added in the future.
